ABOUT

Mother Nutrient’s Infant Probiotic provides the perfect, gentle blend of 5 Lactobacillus and 5 Bifidobacterium species.

The gut of a baby is still immature and is easily affected by factors such as Cesarean birth, antibiotic use, hospitalization, exposure to toxins, and formula feeding.1 The 10 species of probiotics were specially selected to encourage a healthy and balanced neonatal microbiota.1 The diverse species also help to develop and stimulate the maturation of the body’s own immune response.†

My Infant Probiotic is designed to meet the unique metabolic and intestinal needs of babies and young children.

It uses Lactobacillus species that produce a safe form of lactic acid that is easily metabolized by infants and is free from the D(-) isomer of lactic acid often found in adult probiotics that cannot be metabolized. So you can rest assured that your baby’s gut is getting just what it needs to develop.

The powder form is easy to administer.

The 5 billion CFU powder can be mixed into breast milk, formula, or sprinkled on room temperature food, so it is easy to administer whether your baby is 6 months or 2 years old. If you exclusively breastfeed and your baby is not eating solids yet, you can sprinkle a little powder on your breast before each feeding.
